The primary mission of AJOT is to publish peer-reviewed research examining the effectiveness and efficiency of occupational therapy practice so that occupational therapy professionals can make informed, evidence-based decisions about best practice. In addition, the journal aims to publish (1) research documenting the reliability and validity of occupational therapy instruments; (2) studies demonstrating a relationship between occupational engagement and the facilitation of community participation and health; and (3) articles that provide a forum for scholars to debate professional issues that affect education, practice, and research.

The Australian Occupational Therapy Journal (AOTJ) is a leading international publication presenting influential and innovative scholarship and research relevant to occupational therapy. The journal is the official research publication of the professional peak body, Occupational Therapy Australia.
New Zealand Journal of Occupational Therapy
The New Zealand Journal of Occupational Therapy is a refereed journal dedicated to the publication of high quality national and international articles that are grounded in practice and provide practical, hands-on information representing all fields of occupational therapy.
Occupational Therapy International
Occupational Therapy International is an open access journal publishing research reflecting the practice of occupational therapy throughout the world. Topics include reliability and validity of clinical instruments, assistive technology, community rehabilitation etc.
Occupational Therapy Now
Occupational Therapy Now (OT Now) is the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist (CAOT)’s practice magazine providing occupational therapists with information to meet the challenges of their day-to-day practice. Articles encourage discussion and debate of occupational therapy issues and appeal to anyone with an interest in occupation and its impact on health: health care practitioners, consumers, policy and decision makers and members of the general public from around the world.

OTseeker
OTseeker is a database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials and other resources relevant to occupational therapy interventions. Most trials have been critically appraised for their validity and interpretability. In one database, OTseeker provides fast and easy access to information from a wide range of sources to inform occupational therapy.
